Nobody likes an Outsider | Book Review | Fawaz Jaleel
Nobody likes an Outsider by @fawazsays is a crime thriller revolving around the murder mystery of Ashraf Zain, a strong political figure in Bihar. Then enters the CBI for investigation led by Yohan Tytler and his team.
I liked the book for its detailed descriptions, the plot, the suspense and the character development. The main character Yohan along with his team Sukumar and Ila are energetic, humorous, smart and intelligent. The way the plot was set up and the descriptions of the political parties and their origin was also to the point.
The main agenda that the book focuses on and want the readers to understand is about the corrupt education system in India. Today people are too busy sending their kids to multiple tuition centre’s and entrance coaching centre’s that we do not understand that the entire education system is used by people as a money making business. This notion is clearly depicted in this novel.
I liked the way how author was able to bring forward multiple social issues in a murder mystery while keeping the thrill of reading till the climax.
So overall a classic police investigation and a climax that was unexpected.
My Rating 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑
