The Two Lost Mountains| Matthew Reilly | Book Review

 

The Two Lost Mountains is the sixth book in the series of Jack West Adventure. The adventure begins in Russia where Jack’s daughter Lily who was about to get executed gets saved but is still in the custody of the evil Sphinx. Jack and his friends must save Lily and the entire world before Sphinx completes the challenge called The Fall in one of the five hidden mountains across the world.

I was completely thrilled to get this book from @hachette_india as a review copy. It’s absolutely fast paced and gives me the feeling of reading Dan Brown books. Matthew Reilly is definitely a very good storyteller but I would recommend to read it as a series because there were multiple characters and incidents from previous books that I found a bit hard to grasp as I was reading it as a stand alone. 

There were moments when you feel your favourite characters would eventually die but then some unknown heroes just emerge out to help them is fantastic and thrilling. Definitely recommending it to people who love to read adventure and thriller books.
